Three out of five people in the UK want to change their job but are held back by a lack of finances and the right skills, according to a survey published recently by Bing, Microsoft’s search engine.
The research was conducted to examine what Brits really want to be doing in all aspects of their lives, including careers. The poll of 3,000 people from across the UK found that the nation’s top 10 dream jobs are as follows:
- Working for a charity or not-for-profit organisation
- Musician or singer
- Sports trainer or coach
- Formula 1, MotoGP or rally driver
Those who wanted to run their own businesses wanted to run a restaurant (men), a shop (women).
What’s your dream job? And your dream business?
